ROLE: LEAD DESIGNER
In this partnership with the Original Grain Watch Co and Los Angeles based fashion designer Daniel Sheehan, I was tasked with designing a homepage and shoppable landing page to highlight how Sheehan's rough Americana style complements the Original Grain brand ethos of timeless handcrafted quality. To me, what better way to pay homage to the timeless craft of hand-done work than capturing the vintage textures of the original drawing board itself, paper? I went through my personal library to find the perfect old books that had seen years on years of providing inspiration and scanned in their pages to use as the subtle foundation of the landing page. Scanning in letterpress blocks I had pressed over the years as well, they filled out the page as textured accents to compliment the workshop photography and Original Grain watches. This collaboration was also intended to familiarize the Original Grain customers with Daniel Sheehan one month prior to the brand's 5 Year Anniversary Sale, which featured a gift with purchase collaborative T-Shirt between the two inspired by the Original Grain's collection of watches made from reclaimed bourbon whiskey barrels.

with Purchase T-SHIRT COLLABORATION emails
These emails were used to follow up the Original Grain x Daniel Sheehan landing page feature to promote the collaboration T-Shirt the brands created together as a gift with purchase during the Original Grain 5 Year Anniversary sale. The idea behind the shirt was inspired by the Original Grain watch collection that is made from reclaimed bourbon beer barrels paired with Daniel Sheehan's (and most of the Original Grain's staff for that matter) love for Whiskey.
